Reading and Leeds Festival 2009
The Reading and Leeds Festivals kick off this weekend (28-30 August).
Headlining the festivals are Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead but then there’s Kaiser Chiefs, The Prodigy, Bloc Party, Placebo, Maximo Park, Yeah Yeah Yeahs…the list goes on and on… There is really something for everyone. Looks to be an amazing weekend for everyone!
The weather forecast is looking rather unsteady so bring your water proofs! Oh and for those of you that don’t have tickets DON’T GO! There will be no tickets sold onsite this year in an attempt to stop people just turning up on the day hoping to get in.
If you haven’t managed to get a ticket for this years festival then you could go and see The Cribs as they are staging their own Reading and Leeds festival after signing up to play free shows in each town. Leeds on August 30 and Reading on August 31. So go down to your local HMV try and try to get some of that festival feeling…oh and the show starts at noon.
