It should be noted that no royalties are collected at the current time but that this service is provided free of charge.
In uploading your own tracks or artist concepts you are responsible for ensuring that the content of the same does not and will not breach any of the rights of any third party. In uploading an MP3 or art (or any user generated content) to the Mixm8 site you warrant and represent that you own and / or control all rights to the content of that upload.
Specifically you acknowledge and agree that Mixm8 does not have any obligation to review any such upload and that Mixm8 is not responsible for the form or content of any such upload, in particular that Mixm8 is a passive host for distribution of the MP3/art or other user generated content and does not carry any obligation or liability relating to any content uploaded by you or activities carried out by you or other users on the website.
If you are a music or creative artist and feel that your own rights have been breached in material uploaded by a user then you should follow our copyright infringement notification policy and we shall use best endeavours to remove the relevant material. However please note that liability for the alleged breach of your rights rests with the person or organisation which uploaded the allegedly infringing material as this is a condition of use of the site.
